All CFPA pathologists perform general surgical pathology
Anatomic Pathology Specialties
including frozen section service, and sub-specialization in FNA Pathology, with on-site coverage of pancreas, biliary, EBUS coverage, and more.
Neuropathology
including tumors, muscle biopsies and epilepsy pathology.
Hematopathology
including flow cytometry, NGS molecular testing for hematologic tumors, and FISH testing for leukemias and lymphomas.
Dermatopathology
including both medical dermatopathology and skin tumors. General and Specialized Gastrointestinal Pathology, including pediatric and adult liver pathology, both native and transplanted organs. We are accredited by National Accreditation Program for Rectal Cancer (NAPRC).
Gynecological and Breast Pathology
including assessment of biomarkers such as ER, PR, HER2 including FISH, and NGS molecular testing for classification. We are accredited by National Accreditation Program for Breast Cancers (NAPBC).
Transplant Pathology
including HLA tissue typing, donor specific antibody testing (DSA), pre-transplant assessment of donor kidney and donor liver, and post-transplant of liver, lung, and cardiac biopsies.
Thoracic Pathology
including interstitial lung diseases, thymic and pulmonary neoplasms, including with comprehensive (500 gene) molecular testing.
Transfusion Medicine Services
including donor center, massive transfusion protocols, and blood utilization committee. We provide coagulation services, including platelet aggregation tests.
Chemistry Services
including protein and hemoglobin electrophoresis, immunofixation, mass spectrometry for pediatric storage disorders, among routine chemistry laboratory testing.
Microbiology Services
including routine and specialized cultures, and molecular microbiology for identification of organisms and their susceptibility testing. This includes virology and identification of parasites.
