Our History
CFPA started as Holcomb, Jones, and Satory-De-Hoyos, PA in 1979 and was incorporated as CFPA in 1997. We are the largest private practice of hospital-based pathologists in Central Florida. Currently, we are a group of twenty-two pathologists, two laboratory specialists, and twelve pathology assistants serving 13 of hospitals and several free-standing laboratories/OSED’s in the AdventHealth System in and around greater Orlando.
Our Purpose
We serve as specialists in Anatomical Pathology, Clinical Pathology (Laboratory), including Transfusion medicine, HLA -tissue typing, and Molecular genetic Pathology.
In Anatomic Pathology we provide sub-specialty services in multiple areas, including Dermatopathology, Hematopathology, Neuropathology, Gynecological-pathology, Pediatric and Perinatal Pathology, Transplant Pathology, and Cytopathology, with a total volume of over 90,000 cases annually.
In addition, we participate in over 35 multi-disciplinary conferences including tumor boards every month, and in numerous committees at the hospital and system level every month.
